I am an aspiring geospatial data scientist with interests in migration, socioeconomic research, and spatial analysis using Python, R, and GIS tools.
I have previous quantitative, professional, academic, volunteer, and project experience covering machine learning techniques (e.g., regression), mathematical and statistical topics (e.g., calculus, hypothesis testing), data visualization libraries and tools (e.g., GeoPandas), and database management (Excel, SQL).
My value lies in being able to transform data into visualizations and comprehensive analysis that I can present to non-technical audiences, my mathematical and statistical intuition when it comes to problem solving, and my domain knowledge in the realm of social science.
I currently seek opportunities that would allow me to leverage my data science, machine learning, statistical, and geospatial skills and experiences in a socioeconomic and demographic research environment to visualize data on socioeconomic metrics and generate data-driven insights that will advance more equitable public policies.
