Demographic Analysis of the Filipino Canadian Community (Two Elections Canada Research Projects)
As the very first Filipino to work in Elections Canada's Environmental Monitoring Centre, I lead two special projects to help Elections Canada better understand the general Filipino Canadian community and Ilocano speaking community, as well as their media presence. The two demographic research projects (Project 1=Filipino Canadian Demographic Report, Project 2=Ilocano Speakers to Canada) are meant to complement the two larger research efforts.

Categorical Data Analysis Using R (Canadian Census Divisions)
With huge variations within its population in terms of ethnicity, and educational, health and economic indices, I used R to investigate which socioeconomic variables had the biggest causal effect on each Canadian census division's net migration.

Mapping the Decline of Philippine Regional Languages
Scraping data from the Philippine Statistics Authority and linguistic data from Ethnologue, as well as using ArcGIS' StoryMap, I created an interactive that will educate users on the spatial component of the state of regional languages in the Philippines.

With housing and immigration projected to be amongst the most widely-discussed topics in the upcoming 2025 Canadian general elections, our group created regression models to predict rent prices across several cities using rent and migration data.

Developed an interactive Tableau based on registered emigrants data from the Philippines' Commission on Filipinos Overseas' (CFO) registered emigrants data, with a corresponding Github Repo providing further analysis beyond the data visualizations.
