Demographic Analysis of the Filipino Canadian Community (Elections Canada Research Project)
As the very first Filipino to work in Elections Canada's Environmental Monitoring Centre, I undertook a special project to help Elections Canada be better equipped with outreaching to the Filipino Canadian community, as gaps in their data remain.

With huge variations within its population in terms of ethnicity, and educational, health and economic indices, I used R to investigate which socioeconomic variables had the biggest causal effect on each Canadian census division's net migration.

Scraping data from the Philippine Statistics Authority and linguistic data from Ethnologue, as well as using ArcGIS' StoryMap, I created an interactive that will educate users on the spatial component of the state of regional languages in the Philippines.
